It seems like everyone enjoys the New Year's holiday -- the opportunity for a fresh start fills people with optimism and hope.  With the best of intentions, people set new goals and make plans for the coming year, committing to changing various aspects of life.  But as the year passes, the billboards of life vie for your attention and will try to distract and deter you from your plans.
